Squeak Etoys is a "media authoring tool"-- software that you can download to your computer
and then use to create your own media. You can write out your project and share it with others.

Preferences are menus of options to customize Etoys.
There are 204 options.
Is a there a feature of Etoys you wish was different? A Preference may be available for that.
Your version of Etoys can be saved.
The original version can always be recaptured. The Help! button opens an essay from the developers about the preferences and an alphabetical listing of them. Read!. Open an Object Catalog from Supplies. It opens with categories of objects. To find Preferences: click on alphabetic and then p. Hover over any option's check box to read the information in its help balloon. Use the resize handle to enlarge your Preferences window.
The catagories of options are listed in an aqua box. Click a category to open its list of options. AppS. Choose: morphic then change the size of the paint area.
Experiment with other Preferences.
