Squeak Etoys is a "media authoring tool"-- software that you can download to your computer
and then use to create your own media. You can write out your project and share it with others.
Etoys runs on any Mac or Windows machine, as well as on the OLPC XO machine.

Text of this guide (for searching): Menu Tools: Select a Group Hold down the Shift key and drag around the rectangles; a blue outline will appear around them. The black and brown halo handles pick up and move the group within the borders of the outline. The copy handle will copy all the objects in the group. The X handle will move the group to the trash. The resize and repaint handles are not active in this special halo. The white handle has a menu with many options including these:. Hold down the shift key and click drag an outline around the rectangles. Experiment with the white menu's options.
