A menu in the Scriptor lets you select the number of times that a script ticks per second.

Click and hold down on the small clock to see the menu.
MenuTicksPerSecond, page 2. Ticks (now 8/sec) can be increased or decreased. Click and hold down on the clock for a menu to change the tick rate of this script.

 other. . .

Click to choose it and a dialogue box will open. Decide.

The upper limit on the number you choose is the processing power of your computer. If the number is too big, the script may freeze.

Be prepared to close Etoys without being able to save the project.
